TREND ALERT: Baroque

Women’s Wear Daily noticed a trend this week, Baroque. Red carpets the world over were awash in dresses by Valentino, Marc Jacobs and Pucci that showcased the ornate prints of the Baroque period.  Starlets Cameron Diaz, Poppy Delevigne and Lily Aldridge embraced the look.

The heavily patterned designs call for little to no jewellery. The Leo, a delicate drop hoop earring with a few small crystals to pick up the main colour in the dress, make the perfect compliment.

Seeing the look in a full length gown isn’t realistic for the everyday woman but maybe an opulent blouse and sparkly ring like the Deanna will make their way into your wardrobe.
