While designing each collection I always think about who the Brooklyn Designs woman is. I love hearing feedback from my customers and to be able to meet you in person and to interact is always a highlight for me. Through meeting all of you and listening to what you have to say and seeing how you wear your Brooklyn Designs it helps me to decide how to carry my designs into each new season. One of the most important parts about designing Brooklyn Designs is being able to create versatile pieces that you can wear to work, on the weekends and to special events.

Here are a few examples of how you can style your Brooklyn Designs your way, whether you're going out to lunch with friends or are on your way to work.

 Here is a great look for the weekend for a day of shopping with friends. Pair your favorite denim with a comfortable pair of boots and cute feminine lace top with some of our new Fall 2012 designs. We've featured our Gold Branch Earrings, Amethyst Swarovski Crystal & Black Onyx Pavé GF Bracelet, Swarovski Crystal & Black Onyx Pavé GF Bracelet, Crystal Pavé Ring Gold-filled Necklace and Vermeil Leaf Ring.

Celebrity Style: Leaf Earrings

Some of our favorite designs are inspired by botanical elements and we just can't get enough of leaf earrings. Whether they are adorned with sparkling swarovski crystals or are highly detailed and elegant on their own, our leaf inspired earrings are always and forever popular.

Lately we've seen some of our favorite celebrities wearing leaf earrings and we wanted to share a few with you. We are big fans of The Vampire Diaries and the gorgeous Nina Dobrev has a great boho chic style of her own. She been  seen wearing leaf earrings just like our Open Leaf Swarovski Fringe Earrings at Coachella and on the red carpet.

Styling: Boho Chic


I've been having some fun playing with different fashion styles on Polyvore this weekend and want to share some of the different looks with you. Polyvore is a great place to find fashion inspiration and to play with different fashion looks without having to go anywhere! You just need to be creative and have fun with their different design tools.

The first look I want to share is Boho Chic inspired. I was thinking Modern Hippie when I put this together and it's actually an outfit that I wear myself. I have layered a few pieces from some of my favorite deisgners Gypsy 05 and 7 For All Mankind to create a fun and casual outfit that is easy to wear on the weekends and days off.
